Wine and Waistbeads

Join My Sacred Yoni and our special host Janiell, for a fun evening of Sisterhood, Creativity, Adornment, and Wine.

Each woman will design and string her own waistbeads. You don't need to bring anything. Beads and supplies will be provided.

The cost is $30. (Must be paid in advance) 

Create as many waistbeads as you choose during this two hour session. Space is limited to 9 women.

Waist beads are an age old African tradition and are worn for vast reasons and purposes to celebrate femininity, healing, spirituality, power, balancing, attracting and keeping a mate, rites of passage, rejuvenation, initiations, first menses, energy, and body shaping. African women have traditionally worn waist beads beneath their clothing placed beneath the belly button and can be single or multiple strands. Other cultures proudly display the beads over their clothes or on bare midriffs. The art of adorning ones self has been practiced since the beginning of time. Today waistbeads are worn as a form of self expression and style, but can still have any significance the wearer chooses.

This event will be held in the front office conference room. Park by the Storage Xxtra Office Sign. Social distancing and masks required. Each guests will need to have their temperature checked.
